The Education Club of the Professor Christopher Ominyofe Balogun Social Science Club (PCOBSC), GSSI Chapter, held productive Group Learning Activities on 2nd and 9th April, 2026.

As part of the Club’s commitment to academic excellence and collaborative learning, students were divided into groups to discuss and exchange ideas on various topics and subjects. The sessions provided members with opportunities to engage in meaningful discussions, share perspectives, ask questions and learn from one another.

The group interactions fostered teamwork, critical thinking, effective communication and problem-solving skills among participants. Through active participation and peer learning, students gained deeper insights into social science concepts while strengthening their confidence and academic abilities.

These activities continue to demonstrate the Club’s dedication to creating an engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to think, collaborate, and grow intellectually.

As part of our commitment to promoting academic excellence and making learning enjoyable, students of Girls’ Secondary School, Igbo-Ukwu, participated actively in the Dictionary Fastest Finder Challenge held on Friday, 22nd May, 2026.

The challenge, which forms part of our regular Fun Friday activities, was designed to enhance students’ vocabulary development, improve dictionary usage skills, encourage healthy competition, and foster quick thinking among participants.

The event created an atmosphere of excitement, enthusiasm, and intellectual engagement as students competed to locate words accurately and within the shortest possible time.

Special commendation goes to the student coordinators and participants who are members of the Education Club of the Professor Christopher Ominyofe Balogun Social Science Club (PCOBSC), GSSI Chapter. Their dedication, teamwork, and consistency have continued to make the programme successful and impactful.

The Club remains committed to providing innovative learning opportunities that combine education with fun, helping students develop essential academic and life skills in an engaging environment.

Indeed, learning becomes more meaningful and enjoyable when knowledge meets fun.
