ABOUT PROFESSOR CHRISTOPHER OMINYOFE BALOGUN, CHAIRMAN, BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Distinguished Professor Christopher Ominyofe Balogun was born on 13th February 1963 in Atte, Akoko-Edo Local Government Area in Edo State, into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Balogun, farmers by Profession. Distinguished Professor Christopher Ominyofe Balogun began his early life as a young village boy with zero IQ. He attended Okumagbe Primary School, Atte, from 1970 to 1977; Ugbegu Technical College, Mid-Western State, now Edo State, from 1977 to 178; Institute of Continuing Education, Igarra, Bendel State, from 1978 to 1979; Azama College, Otuo, Bendel State, from 1979-1980, and finally moved to Uneme-Osu Secondary/Commercial School, Uneme-Osu, Bendel State, from 1980 to 1983.

His educational career was not that easy, as he always sought a place of comfort to do more of his reading. After his early Education in 1983, he engaged himself with many establishments as a factory boy with little income. These gave him ample opportunities to further his Education, and he rose to the management level.

Distinguished Professor Christopher Ominyofe Balogun is a seasoned Scholar and Administrator. He acquired both National and International awards over the years. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Nigeria; Chartered Institute of Bankers, Nigeria; Institute of Management Consultants, Nigeria; former Chief Examiner, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Nigeria (formerly Association of Cost and Executive Accountants); Fellow of Association of Business Specialists and Entrepreneurs of Nigeria; Fellow of Chartered Institute of Finance and Control of Nigeria and lot more. This exceptional professional is the sole representative, Life Founder member, and Fellow of the Association of Certified Commercial Diplomats, United Kingdom. He is a Faculty Member and Lecturer at American Trinity University, California, a former member of the Advisory Council, and a former Research Supervisor at POMA University, Benin Republic. Formerly the Registrar of Oxford University of Namibia and Council Member, London Institute of Africa Chartered Economists, Namibia. He is a Faculty Member and Fellow Chartered Member of Ballsbridge University, British Virgin Islands, Birland, and has several international certifications. He is a Fellow and Board Member of the Board of Quality Standards. Distinguished Professor Christopher Ominyofe Balogun holds several PhDs from different Universities.

Distinguished Professor Christopher O. Balogun founded the Association of West African Professional Economists Bodies (AWAPEB); the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN) & Ghana (ICEG); Access Advanced University of Economics (AAUE), and the Institute of Certified Geographers of Nigeria (ICGN). Founder of the Professor Christopher Ominyofe Balogun Social Science Club. He is currently the Chancellor/President of Access Advanced University of Economics, an incorporated and Trademarked Private University in Nigeria, and the Group Director-General/CEOs of all his establishments in Nigeria and overseas, with an International presence in Ghana, the Benin Republic, and the United Kingdom.

Distinguished Professor Christopher O. Balogun is a Coordinator (Pastor) with Deeper Life Bible Church, Kaduna Region. Formerly an IBTC lecturer at the Kaduna Study Centre. The Coordinating Examiner for the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria and others. He is married to Madam Dorcas O Balogun, a Cooperative manager with four children. He lives in Kaduna, the headquarters of all his establishments.
